Students of Moscow high schools took part in the 19 Christmas Festival, which took place at RSUH on December 24.
In the welcoming speech, President Pivovar praised the activities of the International Institute of New Educational Technologies, the main organizer of the festival.
“The Institute works with schoolchildren, students and specialists, graduate and doctoral students,” said Dr. Pivovar. - This is a worthy example of continuing education, a fusion of the efforts of many academic teams in Russia and abroad. The very idea of a festival fully reflects the innovative atmosphere of RSUH. ”
In turn, Dr. Sergey Kuvshinov, Director of the Institute, expressed his gratitude for the support in the creation of the Institute. “When in 2013 Moscow Department of Science and Education sought to establish Technology Support Center, we proposed RSUH as the location. This caused some skepticism, since RSUH is not a technical university. But today, the Department recognizes that our Center has become one of the leading in Russia”, said Dr. Kuvshinov.
The festival has been held for the 19th time. This year, the School of Advertising and PR joined in its organization. Dr. Alan Abaev, Dean of the School, said, “The development of digital technologies in a Liberal Arts university is fully in line with the spirit of the times. Humanities and technical education should be closely integrated, because one is impossible without the other. ”
