Spring session of the American Studies Club of the Department of International Relations

The session took place April 25-27, with the invited guest being Dr. Richard Weitz, Senior Fellow at the Hudson Institute, Washington D.C. The topic of the session was «Trump’s First 100 Days: Presidential Learning in Troubled Times».


Dr. David Goldfield, professor at the University of North Carolina, a two-time Pulitzer laureate, gave a talk on April 27. The topic was «The Politics of Change in America» and dealt with the factors in the constituent body that influence the American two-party system.

The Club is headed by Dr. Zhuravlyova, Vice Dean for Academic Affairs at the Department of International Relations.
