The round table “The Crimea in WWII: issues of sources and research”

The event was organized by RSUH, “World without Nazism” international human rights movement, Russian Society for Crimean Research and Russian Society of Historians and Archivists.

15 presenters – researchers of renown, historians, ethnographers from the Crimea and Moscow, whose principal professional area is WWII in the Crimea – touched upon two topics of considerable importance: the Great Patriotic War in the Crimea” and “German Occupation Regime in the Crimea”.

Rector Pivovar, who moderated the Round Table, spoke of the high level of the presentations, noted the importance of further WWII source research and said that a round table information package would be published directly.

At the end of the event, “World without Nazism” international human rights movement presented the project “The white book of Nazism”. V.V. Engel spoke about the project and the book of the same name published within the project’s framework.
